Coffee Talk: Coffee Grounds

Hey guys!! Hope y’all are doing great! So I know this is an unusual blog post for me but I wanted to share with y’all about my favorite brands of coffee grounds.

I feel that people often don’t know what brand of coffee to get because there’s so many options. Been there done that. So I started started trying a bunch of different kinds. Hopefully this will help y’all out!

1. Caribou Coffee Grounds

Caribou coffee grounds are by far my favorite! They aren’t too dark or taste like there’s not enough caffeine. It’s like the perfect grounds. I was so happy with the taste by the first sip! I have also tried Caribou’s Vanilla Hazelnut Blend. SO GOOD YALL!! A friend gave it to me for my birthday and I absolutely love it. Totally recommend Caribou to all y’all!

2. Starbucks Coffee Grounds

Starbucks coffee grounds are also very good! They are a darker roast so if you like dark coffee then Starbucks grounds will probably be your favorite. They always have a unique taste and i’m always curious about what i’ll taste in them. I would say that starbucks italian blend was my favorite and sumatra came close behind. Y’all should give them a taste!

3. Maxwell House Coffee Grounds

My parents have drank their coffee for years and years so I’ve had it a lot. It is super good and is a bit darker but not too much. I pretty much grew up on this coffee y’all. Would recommend this too!

4. Sprouts Coffee Grounds

I have had these before and they are super good while being organic! My favorite blend was the sumatran. They are a pretty in between roast so they aren’t that dark but there’s still a good amount of caffeine in there.😉 I would recommend these to everyone and especially those organic coffee drinkers out there!

5. Kirkland Coffee Grounds

These are okay. They are a very dark roast so they weren’t my favorite but they still tasted pretty good. I had the Pacific Bold blend so maybe their other coffee isn’t as dark. I should give their other blends a try. Definitely recommend to dark roast coffee drinkers.

So that about wraps it up! These are the main coffee grounds i’ve tasted and I would love to try some more and tell y’all about them. I would like to do more blog posts if me talking about coffee and tips for making it too. I am also thinking about adding pictures to my recipes! More blogs posts to come so stay tuned!!

(I hope all my y’all’s didn’t bother you too much, i’m from Texas🤠)

Flat White

I made my first Flat White today and it’s the first time I tried it. I love it! I frothed my own milk for it from the milk frother my grandma gave me for my birthday! I tried using my latte art skills and, let’s just say I need some practice😆. The traditional flat white has no sweetener in it but I like my coffee sweet, so I added sweetener. Hope y’all enjoy!

Recipe:

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup coffee

• 1/2 cup frothed milk

• Sweetener to taste (optional)

Instructions

• Pour coffee into cup and add sweetener

• Froth your milk

• The next step is to put your frothed milk in your coffee. There’s two ways to do this. You can just pour the frothed milk in and take a tooth pick or something small like that and make and start drawing. Tip: you will probably have to pull the coffee up with your toothpick to get it to come up and show art. Another way to make a design is to pour the frothed milk in a design, kinda like your drawing while your pouring. Enjoy!!
